NIACC Accounting - Associate in Applied Science Degree
Program Information

Degree Earned

Upon completion of the prescribed curriculum with a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or above, the student is awarded an Associate in Applied Science Degree.

Students who plan to pursue a four-year degree and need to meet general education requirements of transfer institutions should strive for an Associates in Arts Degree. Several of the first-year requirements are the same for both the A.A.S. and the A.A. Degree.

Costs

Tuition is based on the number of credit hours and legal residence and is subject to change or modification. Effective Fall 2011, Iowa resident tuition is $146.83 per semester hour. For more information regarding costs, click here.

Financial Aid/Scholarships

Financial assistance is available in the form of grants, scholarships, loans, and part-time employment (work study). Students apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact the Financial Aid Office for financial aid and/or scholarship information.

  • High school transcript or GED scores
  • ACT scores or COMPASS assessment
  • Other college transcripts
