NIACC Banking, Insurance & Financial Management
Program Information

Diploma Earned

Upon satisfactory completion of the first year of the curriculum with a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or above, the student is awarded a diploma.

Degree Earned

Upon completion of the curriculum with a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or above, the student is awarded an Associate in Science (Business/Banking, Insurance and Financial Management) Degree.

Students who know they wish to pursue a four-year degree and want to meet general education requirements of transfer institutions should pursue the A.A. Degree. This will necessitate a slightly different curriculum.

Costs

Tuition is based on the number of credit hours and legal residence and is subject to change or modification. Effective July 1, 2009, Iowa resident tuition is $123.04 per semester hour.

Financial Aid/Scholarships

Financial assistance is available in the form of grants, scholarships, loans, and part-time employment (work study). Students apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact the Financial Aid Office for financial aid and/or scholarship information.

  • NIACC Application for Admission
  • High school transcript or GED scores
  • ACT scores or COMPASS assessment
  • Other college transcripts
