The Regional Health Education Center, a unique partnership between North Iowa Area Community College and North Iowa Mercy Health Center, provides a wide variety of health education programs for health care professionals and the general public. Several online health courses are also available.
NIACC offers numerous short-term non-credit computer classes at various North Iowa locations including the NIACC campus. In addition, the College now offers a variety of online classes on web publishing, the Internet, Microsoft Office applications, Quicken and QuickBooks, PC Troubleshooting and more.
Whether you're interested in pursuing a degree, upgrading your skills, or taking a few classes just for fun, NIACC community education programs bring the opportunities to your doorstep.
North Iowa Area Community College reaches out to the people of North Iowa through partnerships with local communities and their school districts. The College has five outreach centers which serve as microscopic community colleges to remove the barriers of distance in providing lifelong learning opportunities to the people of the area. Most community education centers have an advisory board and operations board comprised of community members who provide insight for local education programs and facility planning.
