Unique Day Planned in Osage
North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Community Education and the Osage Chamber of Commerce are planning a unique day on Saturday, June 9. Destination Osage will provide participants with an opportunity to shop in Osage’s specialty shops while getting hands-on learning opportunities about a variety of topics.

Volunteers with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Honored
Volunteers with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) in North Central Iowa were honored recently at an ice cream social for the contribution of their time and talents to elementary and middle school students throughout the region. The event was held in conjunction with Senior Corps Week, May 7-11.

LEVELLAND, Texas – NIACC sophomore Tanesha Edmond won the heptathlon and the high jump at the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at South Plains College.

North Iowa Area Community College and Wartburg College Announce New Partnership
During a press conference held Wednesday May 16, officials with North Iowa Area Community college (NIACC) and Wartburg College announced a new partnership.
Wartburg College and NIACC have entered into a partnership to offer a co-admissions program. Upon admission to NIACC, students are guaranteed admission into a parallel program at Wartburg College, providing they have completed an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science or Associate in Applied Science degree and meet the criteria for admission outlined in the joint admissions agreement.
