Description: A 60-hour course designed to prepare a person to work as activity coordinators in long term care facilities. The course includes the knowledge and skills necessary to determine facility and resident needs and plan an activity program that will meet these needs. The course has been approved by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals and meets the requirement for employment in nursing and residential care facilities.
