Class requirements for various transfer institutions can be very different for the athletic training major. E.g.: PSY-281 & BIO-202, along with CHM-153 & CHM-154, are needed @ University of Iowa; MAT-121,-128,-140 or -210 needed @ ISU, can also take BIO-151 & BCA-101 @ NIACC to satisfy ISU’s FS HN-167 & COM S 103; PEH-111 needed at UNI.

· Admission requirements vary from institution to institution. This major is generally a selective program that requires an application and prerequisites for admission.
· Suggested schedule dependent on entry level of student.
· Many transfer institutions recommend transfer after 1 year. If a student chooses to transfer after Freshman year, he/she will need to decide which classes are preferred to complete at NIACC.
· Clinical experience is an essential requirement of this major. Check with your transfer institution for information on “allowable” clinical sites and experience.
