Tuition Information

Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois residents attending North Iowa Area Community College pay approximately $3,900 a year. The cost to non-residents runs approximately $5,700 a year. If you live in the residence halls, room and board is $4,950 annually. Students can also plan on spending roughly $800 a year for books and supplies.

Tuition charges reflect a $116.35 per credit hour rate (for Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois residents; non-residents pay $174.53per credit hour), effective during the 2010 Fall Semester. The average full-time student takes 15 credit hours and the average part-time student takes 6 to 9 hours. A variety of financial assistance is available, including grants, scholarships, loans and part-time employment.
