NIACC Calf Sale Results

The 2007 NIACC Club Calf sale held October 10, 2007, was well attended by more than 180 people. An excellent set of cattle was displayed for auction. Tag 79 heifer topped the sale at $1650, she sold to Steve Miller, Webster City, IA -- repeat buyer, Tag 85 steer sold for $1200 to Evan Chesnut, Shell Rock, IA, Tag 76 heifer sold for $900 to Wesley Dohlman, Leroy, MN. The 2008 NIACC Club Calf Sale will be October 15, 2008. There should be a powerful set of calves coming this spring , giving us the potential for the best group of calves ever offered at our sale next year. Stop by and see the cattle anytime next spring and summer -- again next year's sale is scheduled for October 15, 2008!!!

Students will be preg checking cows this month and we should have a very exciting calf offering for next year. Cows have been bred for next year's calf crop as follows:

Clean-up Bull used: OCC Legend x Draft Pick – this is an outstanding young bull, that we purchased from Russ Harkema's sale last spring. His calves should be super.
