Dan Mason

Athletic Director

Dan Mason was named athletic director at North Iowa Area Community College in July of 2006.

A Chicago native Mason earned his undergraduate degree from North Park University in Chicago (83), and his Masters’ Degree in Physical Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato (86).

The athletic director’s position marks the return on Mason to NIACC, as he served as the men’s basketball coach for four seasons in the mid nineties. Masons’ 1995 team was crowned NJCAA Division II National Champions.

Mason and wife Kay have three children, Alison, Kevin and Tyler.
