In celebration of its historic athletic past, North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) is proud to announce the creation of the Trojan Athletics Hall of Fame. Its purpose is to honor significant contributions of former Trojan athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters to the success of Mason City Junior College and NIACC Athletics.

Criteria

1. A person must meet at least one of the following to be eligible for induction:
   • Attended and had an outstanding career in athletics at Mason City Junior College or NIACC.
   • Attended MCJC or NIACC and subsequently had an outstanding career as an athlete, coach, or administrator.
   • Coached at MCJC or NIACC and gained acclaim for his or her program, the College, and the community.
   • Served as an administrator at MCJC or NIACC and demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the institution’s athletic programs.
   • Made a considerable commitment of time and/or service to the betterment of athletics at MCJC or NIACC.

2. A nominee must meet either of the following:
   • Former athletes to be honored must have been removed from NIACC a minimum of five years.
   • Coaches, administrators, and supporters must have been officially removed from NIACC at least one year.

3. There are no restrictions on who may nominate someone. However, those nominating someone MUST be identified, or their nomination will be disqualified.
