Rick Kievits Signs Letter of Intent

                                                                             Rick Kievits & Morningside's Head Coach, Tom Maxon

                    NIACC Sophomore, Rick Kievits, recently signed a Letter of Intent to play for Morningside College (Sioux City, IA.) next fall. Rick is an international student from Amsterdam, Holland and freshman transfer from Iowa Western CC. This past season Kievits played in 16 games for the Trojans punching in 4 goals and had 4 assists. Rick is joining a Mustang team that has had two National Tournament appearances in the past three seasons under Head Coach, Tom Maxon. Maxon was named the 2007 NAIA Region III Coach of the Year and the 2007 GPAC Coach of the Year.  NIACC Head Coach, Mike Regan, commented that "Rick will do extremely well because of this great attitude and desire to improve. He's a winner. I am very pleased he is going to Morningside and he will be just as much of an asset for that team as he was for ours."
