With winning records of 13-5 in 2007 and 14-4-2 in 2008, the NIACC soccer program is enjoying its best ever spell, including qualifying for the regional playoffs for the first time ever (in 2008) and reaching the finals. All college records have been broken in the last two years and our aim is to keep improving, become nationally ranked and to be competing in the National tournament on a regular basis.

In 2007, we had two players voted into the All American 2nd XI (a first for the program) and 7 other players received regional honors.

In 2008, one player was voted into the All American 1st XI (another first) with 7 others receiving regional honours.

Due to this success, more and more NCAA Div 1 and 2 college coaches are becoming aware of the success of our program and the standard we are setting – they are attending our games and recruiting our players as they graduate.

As a graduate of NIACC myself, I know the value of good schooling, and we are able to offer the best of both worlds – a great education alongside the opportunity to play soccer to a high standard.

My aim as a coach is to improve every player – tactically, technically and all round awareness. I work with players individually and as a group in order to get the best out of them and to help them become better players.

Thank you for visiting our website. Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss our soccer programme and how you can become part of it.

Onwards and Upwards

Mike Regan
