MASON CITY (March 20, 2008) – North Iowa Area Community College head softball coach Tyler Sisco has announced that Valley of Elgin High School infielder Monica Radcliffe has signed a national letter-of-intent to play for the Trojans next season.

Radcliffe earned 2nd team All-Conference honors at shortstop last season and has been a three year starter throughout her high school career.

"Monica has the type of fantastic speed we are looking for. Her athletic ability allows us the flexibility to play her anywhere on the field and she has the offensive skills to hit anywhere from lead-off to somewhere in the middle of the order,” said Sisco about Radcliffe. "Her passion for the game is second to none."
