02/01/10- Lady Trojans fall to Iowa Central.  More

 

01/20/10- The game for tonight against Marshalltown CC has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 5:00 pm.  The game that was postponed from January 6th against Ellsworth CC will be played on February 8th with a 5:30 pm tip-off in the NIACC gym.

 

12/03/09- NIACC Women's Basketball team is off to a 3-3 start and showing major improvements from a year ago.

 

03/09/09 - Two NIACC Trojan's earned post season honors: Nicole Eenhuis was named 2nd Team All-Region and Tiffany Braun earned Honorable Mention.

 

03/06/09 - NIACC Trojan women wrap up their season with a loss in the first round of the Region XI tournament last night in Estherville to Iowa Central, 69-92. more

 

03/02/09 - The Lady Trojan's lose by 6 (47-53) at home against AIB to conclude their regular season play on Saturday. The Trojan's will play Iowa Central CC in the first round of the Region XI playoffs this coming Thursday in Estherville, IA. Tip off is set for 3:00 pm March 5.

 

02/24/09 - Trojan Women lose their final conference game to the Ellsworth Panthers last night at home, 53-66. more

 

02/23/09- NIACC Women were defeated on the road last Saturday by Iowa Central, 42-83. more

 

02/19/09- Nicole Eenhuis led the NIACC women Wednesday night at home with 23 points, but the Trojans fell 46-71. more

 

02/16/09 - Trojan Women fall hard to Kirkwood over the weekend 31-81. more

 

02/12/09- Both Trojan teams were close at the half, but both fell to the Marshalltown Tigers last night at home. The ladies final score was 41-62. more

02/05/09 - Nicole Eenhuis's 30 points last night led to the Trojan's victory over Southeastern CC 65-61. more

 

02/02/09 - Lady Trojan's were defeated last Saturday at home by DMACC 40-57.

01/12/09- The Lady Trojan's fall to Southwestern CC last Saturday, 56-62. The women were led by Tiffany Braun with 19 points and Nicole Eenhuis with 15. The team takes the court again this Wednesday at Marshalltown. Entire story here.

 

01/08/09 - The NIACC women lose a close game Wednesday night in the NIACC gym. The Trojan's had the lead 51-49 until Southeastern sunk a three pointer with 5 seconds left in the game. 01/05/09 - The Trojan women fall to DMACC Saturday in Boone 38-64. Complete stats can be found here.

 

01/02/09 - The Lady Trojan's drop 3 in Arizona. The women first fell to Mesa CC 47-82, then Chandler-Gilbert 42-55, and finally Pima CC 38-73. The complete stats for the games can be found here (Mesa) (Chandler-Gilbert).

 

12/16/08 - The Trojan women chalk up another win over the weekend, defeating Central College JV 62-59.

 

12/1/08 - The NIACC women earn their first victory on the season last Sunday with a win over American Institute of Business 56-51.

 

11/24/08 - The ladies drop to 0-8 after last week. The Trojan's fell to RCTC last Wednesday night in Rochester with a final score of 51:74. They battled hard the 2nd half of the Iowa Western CC game played at home last Saturday, but were defeated 47-74. Read the story on this game here.

 

11/17/08 - The Lady Trojans fall to an 0-6 record after the weekend. The women continue to struggle with their small numbers, but still remain determined and focused. The Trojan's came up short against Parkland CC with a final score of 64-68, and also were defeated by Black Hawk East Saturday, with the score 49-91. They compete again this Wednesday, November 19 away at RCTC.

 

11/12/08 - NIACC Women lost by 6 to Riverland Community College Tuesday evening. The women fought hard, but came away with a 56-62 lose at home. The Lady Trojans were led in  scoring by Nicole Eenhuis with 25 points on the night, while both Tiffany Braun and Karen Ott had 8 rebounds a piece. The women play again this weekend in the Dale Howard Classic at Ellsworth CC.
