Wrestling Open 2010

Date: Saturday, October 30, 2010

Place: NIACC Rec-Center, North Iowa Area Community College, Mason City, IA

Eligibility: Open to all post high school wrestlers from any institution

Entry Fee: $20 per entry! NON-REFUNDABLE. All entries will be paid before skin checks and weigh-

ins. If they do not pass skin checks, they will NOT receive a refund.

Weigh-In: Saturday, October 30, 2010. Per current NCAA rules will apply. Weigh-in will start at

7:00 a.m. with the 125lb. weight class. The building will open at 6:00 a.m. with scales

made available at that time to check weight.

Skin Checks: There will be mandatory skin check before each individual weigh-in. Entry fee will be

paid before skin checks and if wrestler does not pass checks or weigh-in, they will not

receive a refund.

Tournament: This will be a double elimination format with wrestling for three places in each weight class.

All matches will be seven minutes (3-2-2) with riding time. If the match is tied after

regulation, the NCAA overtime procedure will be used. No team scoring will be done.

Matches: Wrestling will start at 9:00 a.m. and run straight through.

Awards: T-Shirts will be awarded to the CHAMPIONS each weight-class.

Seeding: Seeding will be done by a committee Friday evening before the tournament. Outstanding

individuals will be seeded.

October 29th, 2010 NOON. There will be no exceptions!! Call (641) 422-4247 or
