Curriculum
NIACC Accounting with Computers Diploma
Program Information
Students are given the opportunity to complete the program in
a relatively short period of time and are prepared to enter the work
force. They are taught by supportive, qualified faculty who not only
have high educational credentials but also have real-life experience
background. Small class size promotes positive, interactive learning
with instructors. A variety of curriculum methods are implemented
including: classroom work, office technology laboratory
instruction/procedures, and computerized accounting.
Diploma Earned
Upon satisfactory completion of the prescribed curriculum with
an average grade point of 2.00 (C), the student is awarded a diploma.
This recognition is granted to a person who has completed at least
thirty-one (31) semester hours of credit.
Costs
Tuition is based on the number of credit hours and legal
residence and is subject to change or modification. Effective July 1,
2008, Iowa resident tuition is $116.25 per semester hour.
Financial Aid/Scholarships
Financial assistance is available in the form of grants,
scholarships, loans, and part-time employment (work study). Students
apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact the Financial Aid Office for financial aid
and/or scholarship information.
