Curriculum
NIACC Supervision and Management
Program Information
The intent of this program is to develop abilities to organize, coordinate, and
evaluate the functions of a unit, department, or branch of an organization either in
an industrial management or administrative management capacity.
Degree Earned
Upon satisfactory completion of the prescribed curriculum with
a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or above, the student is awarded a
diploma. This recognition is granted to a person who has completed at
least thirty (30) semester hours of credit, including a general
education core.
Career Option: Upon
completion of the prescribed curriculum with a grade point average of
2.00 (C) or above, the student is awarded an Associate in Science
(Business/Supervision and Management) Degree.
Students wishing to pursue a four-year degree and want to meet
general education requirements of transfer insititutions should puruse
the A.A. Degree. This will necessitate a slightly different curriculum.
Costs
Tuition is based on the number of credit hours and legal residence and is subject
to change or modification. Effective July 1, 2008, Iowa resident tuition is $116.25 per
semester hour.
Financial Aid/Scholarships
Financial assistance is available in the form of grants, scholarships, loans, and
part-time employment (work study). Students apply for financial aid by completing
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact the Financial Aid Office
for financial aid and/or scholarship information.
