The new hit musical comedy Church Basement Ladies, inspired by the books of Janet Letnes Martin and Suzann Nelson including bestseller Growing Up Lutheran, celebrates the church basement kitchen and the women who work there. The show shares the story of all ladies, whether Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian or Catholic, whose toil and time form one of the pillars of their churches. Everyone will relate to at least one of these "steel magnolias" of the church: mothers, aunts, or just good friends.
This is the same show that has had a long run at the Plymouth Playhouse Theater.
