Don't Wait

There are many ways you can start working on your resume and interview material right now. Not only are busy students generally better students, but busy students generally get jobs.

NIACC offers many opportunities for you to get involved and the bonus is a great resume.

Look at these great resume builders that are fun too!

  • Internships - Practical on-the-job learning that connects with your classroom learning. Internships lead to jobs and references.
  • Clubs & Organizations - Being part of a club demonstrates team building and often leadership skills. Consider clubs or organizations unrelated to your major as well as those directly related.
  • Sports - Besides being great exercise, sports also demonstrate important team building and leadership skills, intramurals provide the same benefits.
  • Volunteer Work - Companies like to hire individuals who care about and are involved in their community.
