Internships - Practical on-the-job learning that connects with your classroom learning. Internships lead to jobs and references.
Clubs & Organizations - Being part of a club demonstrates team building and often leadership skills. Consider clubs or organizations unrelated to your major as well as those directly related.
Sports - Besides being great exercise, sports also demonstrate important team building and leadership skills, intramurals provide the same benefits.
Volunteer Work - Companies like to hire individuals who care about and are involved in their community.
