With nearly 40 one and two year degree programs as well as the first two years towards a bachelor's degree in most fields, NIACC has students and alumni with a wide variety of skills. In addition, 77% of NIACC students work while attending college which means they also have experience in the workplace.

NIACC works in partnership with Iowa Workforce Development. You may choose to have our professional staff manage your position announcement or you may choose to manage it yourself at www.iowaworks.org

We can customize our services to meet your needs.

What happens to your position announcement?

• It is posted online at www.iowajobs.org providing you access to qualified applicants locally, across Iowa, and across the nation. You can choose to display your company name, choose a confidential listing or something in between.
• It is routed to NIACC instructors teaching in related majors.
• It is e-mailed to NIACC students and alumni who subscribe to our e-mail notification service.

Consider these additional recruiting techniques.

• Participate in our annual Job & Internship Fair every April on the first Wednesday.
• Schedule a campus visit. Host an informational table in the Activity Center or other building. Visit with instructors. Interview candidates.
• Advertise in Logos, NIACC's student newspaper. Contact Paul Peterson at peterpau@niacc.edu or 641-422-4304.
• Have your job descriptions and position announcements reviewed by our professional staff to ensure you attract candidates with the right skills.
