The mission of the Continuing Education Division of North Iowa Area Community College is to provide lifelong learning opportunities that enhance the quality of life in the North Iowa community. Continuing Education is an active community partner that provides learning opportunities throughout the nine-county area. In addition to the learning that occurs on the NIACC campus, there are also many opportunities provided at our community outreach centers in Charles City, Garner, Hampton, Lake Mills and Osage as well as at other locations and communities around the district.
Over 2,500 courses are held each year, in which there are over 20,000 enrollments. Learning opportunities are available in the areas of recreation and leisure, business management, health, computers, summer camps for kids (elementary and middle school age), lean enterprise, customized training for business and industry, skilled trades skills, and lifelong learning through the NIACC Lifelong Learning Institute.
