NIACC’s 45-hour non-credit Production Welding Certificate Course is designed to provide participants the skills necessary for entry level manufacturing welding with Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) process. Skills will be developed in flat, horizontal and vertical position welding of fillet welds. Welder qualification will be available based on skill level.
Participants will also complete the National Career Readiness Certificate and KeyTrain to certify their skills for employment.
Certified Nurse Assistant
NIACC’s 75-hour nurse aide course meets training requirements of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 to fully prepare aides to work in nursing facilities and skilled nursing facilities. The course also includes an additional 30 hours of clinical experience.
Class A CDL
NIACC’s Commercial Truck Driving Class A Licensure Program is an intense 3-week session of classroom and lab (hands-on and driving) that provides training in all aspects of truck driving safety, rules and regulations, industry overview and the Class A CDL licensure exam. This course is designed for those students who wish to pursue a career as an over-the-road driver.
Class A CDL 80 Hour Hybrid
This course is for those seeking a commercial driver’s license (CDL), required to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV). The course is a combination of classroom, on-line, practice range and road time. It provides flexible scheduling to meet the hours required. Upon successful completion of the 80 hours of instruction and testing, an individual will obtain a Class A CDL license. This course is not intended to be a substitute for the 3-week intensive CDL course.
Basic Workplace Computing
NIACC’s Basic Workplace Computing Certificate Program helps students learn the essentials of computing for today’s technological workplace. Through hands-on, interactive training, students gain a working knowledge of a wide variety of computer software applications to help them be successful in a cross section of occupations.
