Work Study
Federal, State and Institutional Work Study
These programs provide part-time employment based upon the student’s financial need. A variety of work opportunities are available, typically on campus, and there are also off-campus work sites. Work study students are paid $7.25/hour and earn valuable job experience. Students are able to seek employment in an area that relates to their major and interests.
Before beginning to work a work study student must complete and return a Federal W-4, State W-4, and I-9 to the NIACC Business Office. You may view and/or complete both forms using the links below. Completion of the I-9 requires that students show documentation that they are eligible to work in the United States. The I-9 lists the acceptable documents. You must bring these documents to the Business Office.
