Officers Elected for NIACC Foundation Board of Directors

The North Iowa Area Community College Foundation Board of Directors recently elected
officers. Kary S. Paulson of Northwood was elected President, and Elaine Coonley of
Hampton was elected Vice President. Both have served on the NIACC Foundation Board since
1996.

Paulson, a 1967 NIACC graduate, is Chairman of the Board for NSB Bank. His community involvements in Northwood have included the Chamber of Commerce and Development Corporation as well as the Swimming Pool Fundraising Committee and the Northwood-Kensett Softball/Baseball Lighting Committee. He and his wife, Carol, have three grown children.

Coonley is a certified public accountant with Coonley & Coonley law firm in Hampton. A member of the Franklin County Development Board, Hampton- Dumont Dollars for Scholars Board, and the Hampton Kiwanis Club, she is also working on the fundraising effort for a recreation center in Franklin County. She and her husband, John, have two young sons.
