Position Title
Head Football
Coach/Coordinator "Expect More" Program (PSS/6)Job Summary
Administer all aspects associated with facilitating a community college
football program including recruiting, in-season coaching, off-season
development, academic monitoring, promotion and placement of graduating players.
The successful candidate will also coordinate the "Expect More" success program
for all student athletes, and will assist with specified game management duties
as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Responsibilities Head
Football Coach
1. Organize, prepare, and conduct individual and team
practices, training and competition.
2. Recruit student athletes in accordance with NJCAA rules and
regulations through video review, high school visits, campus visits and home
visits.
3. Coordinate all strategic aspects of the football program.
4. Work with the Athletic Director in regard to football staff
development.
5. Develop and coordinate the academic support and tracking of
football players.
6. Represent the football program to institutional programs and
externally to media, community supporters, students, parents and the general
public.
7. Manage daily operations pertaining to all aspects of the
football program.
8. Oversee the financial operation of the football program.
9. Perform fundraising duties in concert with the athletic
director.
Expect More Program Coordinator
1. Facilitate early academic support for at-risk student
athletes.
2. Coordinate weekly programming for student athletes in support of
character development.
3. Contact an Alumni panel to meet with student athletes each fall.
4. Identify two speakers per year to address all student athletes.
5. Develop an early start program for student athletes.
6. Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and
cooperation of all organizational components of the College, including
opportunities for student recruitment. Qualifications
A Master's degree with a minimum of three years experience in a college
setting.Salary/Benefits
Salary based on experience.

The College
North Iowa Area Community College has the distinction
of being the first public two-year college in the state of Iowa, having
been established in 1918 as Mason City Junior College. NIACC is an integral
