Objectives

Describe popular styles of windows and their parts. Describe the standard designs and sizes of exterior doors. Select specified styles and sizes of windows from manufacturer’s catalogs. Install various types of windows and doors to industry standards.

wood shims, windows, doors, hardware, caulking

Processes

plumb trimmers to size of opening, install unit according to manufacturers instructions, cross site and/or diagonally string unit to complete installation
