NIACC Building Trades / Carpentry
Required Hand Tools
Students are required to furnish their own hand tools. The Building Trades Program supplies the power tools and any other equipment students require while learning and performing construction work processes. Students are encouraged to purchase professional quality tools. You may be able to obtain some quality tools from relatives, garage sales, etc. Don't be concerned that the tool is not new. As long as the tool is of good quality, we will be able refurbish and sharpen it so that it performs like new.
