The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is a portable, evidence-based credential that measures essential workplace skills and is a reliable predictor of workplace success. The Certificate is issued by ACT® and is THE work related skills credential. Iowa Workforce Development and Iowa's Community Colleges have partnered to implement this program statewide. More specifically, IowaWORKS - North Iowa Area Community College have partnered to implement the program in our region. It is being used by job seekers across the country as an employment credential and by employers as an assessment of a person's readiness and trainability for a job.
The National Career Readiness Certificate is awarded after an individual completes three standardized assessments:
