Course Description:
The National Geographic Society has produced a text of
riveting photography, detailed maps, and compelling questions to help students
see the impact of geography on life across the world. The regional approach
focuses on places and cultures, not endless facts and figures.
Objective:
The student will complete eleven units in the textbook,
Glencoe
World Geography, all written exercises in the student workbook, and pass
eleven unit tests with at least 60% accuracy. Retests are required
on failed tests. Scores from failed tests will be averaged with the
retest score.
