Assessment Services
The Student Learning Center includes a
testing area that offers a variety of assessment services.
-
NIACC and Buena Vista University make-up testing
for faculty
-
Proctoring for independent study course tests
or entrance tests for other colleges
-
CLEP (College Level Examination Program) testing
-
Proctored testing for distance learning programs
-
General Education Diploma (GED) testing and
pretests
-
ETS Proficiency Profile testing (a NIACC graduation
requirement)
-
High school credit course testing
-
Testing for continuing certification and licensure
-
Nurses' aide (computer testing available)
-
Dental Assistant
-
Pesticide applicator
The following hours are for all assessment
testing
Monday through Thursday: Open at 8:00 a.m. with testing
finished by 6:30 p.m.
Friday: Open at 7:30 a.m. with testing finished by 4:00
p.m.
NO APPOINTMENT IS NEED TO TAKE THE PESTICIDE APPLICATOR TESTS
Some assessment services are provided by appointment.
