Assessment Services
The Student Learning Center includes a
testing area that offers a variety of assessment services.

NIACC and Buena Vista University make-up testing
for faculty
-
Proctoring for independent study course tests
or entrance tests for other colleges
-
CLEP (College Level Examination Program) testing
-
Proctored testing for distance learning programs
-
General Education Diploma (GED) testing and
pretests
-
Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress testing (a NIACC graduation
requirement)

SLC High school credit course testing
-
Testing for continuing certification and licensure
-
Nurses' aide (computer testing available)
-
Dental Assistant
-
Pesticide applicator
The following hours are for all assessment
testing except faculty make-up tests effective November 2nd
Monday through Thursday: Open at 9:30 a.m. with no test
starting after 4:00 p.m.
Friday: Open at 9:00 a.m. with no test starting after
2:00 p.m.
Most assessment services are provided by appointment.
