WorkKeys® is a job skills assessment system. It is used by employers to select, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performance workforce. This system incorporates the Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) assessment and Key Train learning curriculum. Participants can learn their skill level, and improve their skills in, Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information.
The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is an assessment-based credential that gives employers and career seekers a uniform, standard, objective measure of key workplace skills. It is being used by job seekers across the country as an employment credential, and by employers as an assessment of a person's trainability for an entry-level job or for a promotion within the company. Students earn a bronze, silver, gold or platinum certificate based on their assessment scores.
KeyTrain is a comprehensive, yet easy-to-use curriculum for improving basic skills measured by the WorkKeys assessment system. Students work with an instructor to assess potential scores or improve their current skill level, and review topics and practice problems similar to those on the actual WorkKeys assessment.
