Renters will need to bring their own linen or order a linen pack for $5 (no pillow.). The dorms are not air-conditioned; you may want to bring a small fan. Male and female floors are designated, because of bathroom facilities, but a couple may share a room, understanding that one must use the bathroom on an adjacent floor. Breakfast will be served in the dorms for $5 each morning. You must register for this, to facilitate planning. Campgrounds: Several area campgrounds are also available nearby. All have electric and non-electric sites, showers, and picnic areas *MacNider Campgrounds, Mason City -Winnebago riverside, pool, trails; 5 minutes from campus - 641-421-3673. *Wilkinson Pioneer Park - Rock Falls - Along the Shell Rock River, 10 minutes from NIACC, northeast of Mason City; hiking and biking trails. Beautiful prairie remnant. 641-423-5309. *Clear Lake State Park - 2 mi. south of Hwy 18 on southeast shore of Clear Lake, about 30 minutes from NIACC; lakeshore beach. 641-357-4212. *MacIntosh Woods State Park South of Hwy 18, east of Ventura on the northwest shore of Clear Lake, about 30 minutes from NIACC; lakeshore beach, yurt rentals. 641-829-3847. *Linn Grove Park - South of Rockwell along Cedar River, 25 minutes from NIACC; close to pool and golf course. 641-423-5309. *Campus camping! We will have a specific, designated area for tents, right next to our conference center and small camper units can part nearby in the parking lot! No shade; no tables, but very convenient. ABSOLUTELY no fires. $10 per unit (pre-register) Campers may use the nearby locker rooms.
