North Iowa Area Community College will place a helmet at the entrance gate of this Saturday’s Homecoming football game and pass the helmet through the crowd during the third quarter to help benefit Lake Mills High School’s injured football player, Tyler Olson.  The NIACC Trojans take on the College of DuPage Saturday on Mohawk Field at 1 p.m.

“We hope that our fans will take this opportunity to demonstrate their support of this courageous young man as he moves forward on the long path of recovery,” Dan Mason, NIACC athletic director, said.

Olson endured an injury to his spinal cord while playing football earlier this fall for Lake Mills High School.

For more information, please contact Mason at 641-422-4281 or 1-888-GO NIACC, ext. 4281.
