The National Junior College Athletic Association announced that Bree Giordana, a North Iowa Area Community College softball player, has been named a Distinguished Academic All-American. Giordana, a sophomore pitcher from Kaukauna, Wisconsin, completed her degree from NIACC in Liberal Arts with a 3.91 grade point average.
Giordana will continue her academic and athletic career this fall at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama.
