From North Iowa Area Community College, www.niacc.edu NIACC Athletics News Ref. 3191 Five North Iowa Area Community College softball players were selected to receive NJCAA Region XI Honors. Jordan Vaske, a sophomore outfielder from Bancroft, Iowa, was selected to the NJCAA Region XI 1st Team. Amanda Speake, a sophomore outfielder from Colo, Iowa, was named to the NJCAA Region XI 2nd Team. Teammates Laci Pustina, a sophomore pitcher from Highland, Wisc.; Bree Giordana, a sophomore pitcher from Kaukauna, Wisc.; and Alicia Martin, a freshman infielder from Nashua, Iowa, were all picked for NJCAA Region XI Honorable Mention honors. The NIACC Trojans softball team finished their season with a 29-26 record.
