North Iowa Area Community College Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the inductees for the Class of 2010.  “We are excited about the Class of 2010,” Dan Mason, Athletic Director, said.  “Each candidate represents a vital link to the heritage of NIACC athletics. They have contributed to the betterment of the college and have provided us all with many great memories.”

Inductees for the Class of 2010 include:
• Joe Cahalan – Basketball – 1960’s
• Leon ‘Joe’ Hatchett – Wrestling – 1970’s
• Curt Reidel – Coach women’s athletics and instructor – 1970’s
• Jennifer Currier – Basketball – Softball – 1980’s
• Paul Bruns – Basketball – 1990’s
• Tim Fleming – Distinguished Service Award

To celebrate the induction of the Class of 2010 members to the NIACC Hall of Fame, the college will host a Day of Champions event from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 17.  The event will include an induction ceremony followed by a reception with light refreshments in the Muse Norris Center.  Tickets cost $8 and will go on sale September 7.  They are available for purchase through the NIACC Athletic Department.  For more information, contact Dan Mason, NIACC Athletic Director, at masondan@niacc.edu or by calling 641-422-4281 or 1-888 GO NIACC, extension 4281.
