Morgan Spurlock has cancelled his appearance in the 2005-2006 North Iowa Area Community College Leadership Series, which was scheduled for the evening of Thursday, October 27, due to a television schedule conflict.
“It is with great sadness that the NIACC Leadership Series has to announce the cancellation of the Morgan Spurlock Leadership event on October 27,” Liz Gales, director of the Performing Arts and Leadership Series at NIACC, said. “We were honored that he accepted our invitation to speak at NIACC and share a piece of his experiences with North Iowa. Unfortunately, a television schedule conflict has forced the cancellation of the event. Several attempts were made at rescheduling the event, but finding a replacement date that worked was not possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
Automatic refunds will go out to anyone who has already purchased tickets to the event. Checks will be sent in the mail to those ticketholders.
