North Iowa Concert Band Presents Fall Concert on November 25

North Iowa Concert Band Director John Klemas
The North Iowa Concert Band, under the direction of John Klemas, will present a Fall Concert on Tuesday, November 25 at 7:30 PM in the North Iowa Community Auditorium on the North Iowa Area Community College campus.

“As we enter our 27th season, I am proud to announce that the band has doubled in size over the last 15 years and has almost tripled its membership since the first concert in 1982.  We have some of the finest student and community musicians involved from all over North Iowa,” Klemas said.

The concert will include great music by some well-known band composers such as H. Owen Reed, E.E. Bagley and Charles Ives.  The evening will be filled with entertainment and a great musical experience.

  Brian Stevens – Tuba

Members of the North Iowa Concert Band represent communities from all over North Iowa including the towns of Britt, Charles City, Clear Lake, Floyd, Forest City, Garner, Greene, Hampton, Kanawha, Lake Mills, Manly, Marble Rock, Mason City, Nora Springs, Osage, Plymouth, Rockford and Rockwell.  Members include:

Tickets for the performance are $3 for adults and can be obtained at the NIACC Business Office (641) 422-4188.  Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the concert.  All students will receive free admission.  There will be a reception in the Muse-Norris Conference Center following the concert.
