Community National Bank proudly presents “Cirque Dreams: Illumination” at North Iowa Community Auditorium on Thursday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the 2009-2010 NIACC Performing Arts and Leadership Series. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.

From the creators of the groundbreaking Broadway hit, “Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy,” comes an all-new journey of nighttime dreamers. This time, their imaginations are ignited within a landscape of towering buildings and infinite possibilities.  Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, “Cirque Dreams: Illumination” has been hailed as “Dazzling!...a reason to stand up and cheer” by the New York Daily News.

Audiences of all ages will marvel and experience a journey of city dwellers who reinvent everyday objects, balance beyond belief, delicately dangle from wires, leap tall buildings and redefine the risks of flight in an array of astounding occurrences that transform the ordinary into extraordinary.  An international cast of world-class acrobats, athletes, musicians and one of a kind artists populate this imaginative, colorful metropolis and breathe life into over 100 inventive costumes, an original musical score and magical sights that transform the landscape of a city into thrills and disbelief.

“Cirque Dreams: Illumination” is sure to live up to the Cirque Dreams brand of notoriety as hailed “jaw dropping and family friendly” by the Los Angeles Times and “The grandest circus spectacle east of Vegas” by New York Magazine.

Cirque Productions was founded in 1993 as the first American company combining the European cirque-style of performance artistry with American circus arts and Broadway theatrics.  These elaborate stage productions have been designed and performed for public theatre, casinos, tours and corporate events worldwide.  Founder, Producer and Artistic Director Neil Goldberg has been recognized globally for his creativity, imagination and Broadway expertise.  The company's production roster includes “Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy,” “Cirque Dreams: Coobrila,” “Cirque Dreams: Pandemonia,” “ Cirque Dreams: Holidaze,” the original Cirque  Dreams, “Cirque Dreams: Imaginique” and “Cirque   Ingenieux.”
