From North Iowa Area Community College, www.niacc.edu Performing Arts Series Ref. 2772 North Iowa Area Community College and Henkel Construction are honored to present the Ten Tenors. The Ten Tenors will take the North Iowa Community Auditorium stage on Tuesday, February 26, at 7:30 p.m. as a part of the 2007-2008 NIACC Performing Arts Series. Tickets are on sale now and cost $29 in advance and $35 at the door. The ensemble formed in 1995 while the tenors were university students, studying for careers in opera. The Ten Tenors created and preformed their first full-length show in 1998, while still fulltime students, and were undertaking a rigorous touring schedule in Australia before the completion of that academic year. The Ten Tenors never take themselves too seriously, so while they are capable of singing dramatic, moving ballads, they can also cut loose an ABBA, Bee Gees, Beach Boys, or Queen song in their live shows, even tossing in some choreographed dance moves to make the performance as much fun for them as their audiences.
