Area Students Graduated from NIACC Professional Driver Prep Program
Seven students graduated from the first class of professional truck drivers trained by the North Iowa Area Community College since 1998.

NIACC’s Enrollment Boost Sets Record for Fall Enrollment
North Iowa Area Community College’s enrollment increase translates to a record 3,485 students attending the College this fall, which translates to 212 more students enrolled at NIACC than compared to the same time last year.

North Iowa Area Community College donated a variety of equipment and music materials to the Aplington-Parkersburg Schools, which were dramatically affected by this summer’s tornadoes and flooding.

NIACC Offers Special Forum in Commemoration of Constitution Day
North Iowa Area Community College will offer a program on “The Constitution and the Election of a President” on Wednesday, September 17, in Beem Forum 200 on the NIACC campus from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This free public forum will be facilitated by John Schmaltz, NIACC Social Sciences and Humanities Division chairperson and instructor, and will commemorate Constitution Day, which is held on September 17 of each year.
