Small businesses, family farms and non-profit organizations impacted by the 2008 summer disasters can now apply for additional financial assistance through the Small Business Disaster Recovery Grant Program. The program, administered by Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), provides up to a $5,000 grant for damages incurred from last year’s floods and tornadoes.

The Region 2 Workforce Development Partnership is implementing a Summer Youth Employment and Training program in Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Franklin, Hancock, Mitchell, Winnebago and Worth counties. North Iowa Area Community College and the Community Cares Coalition are partnering to host a Career & Community Resources Fair on Wednesday, March 25th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the NIACC Gymnasium.
