Several North Iowans were elected to the NIACC Foundation Board of Directors at the December 12th board meeting. Kristy Arzberger of Plymouth, Brad Davis of Hampton, Dan Latham and Jon Lewerke of Mason City, and Bob Olson of Forest City will officially join the NIACC Foundation Board in 2007.

| Kristy Arzberger |
Kristy Arzberger of Plymouth is an attorney and the owner of Arzberger Law Office in Mason City. She earned her AA degree from North Iowa Area Community College and her BA and JD degrees from Drake University. She is also involved with the family farming operation and serves on the board for the North Iowa Girl Scout Council. She and her husband, Steve, have two children.

| Brad Davis |
Brad Davis of Hampton is President and CEO of Hampton State Bank. He has been with the bank since 1980. A graduate of the University of Iowa, his education also includes the Iowa School of Banking, the National School of Bank Investments at the University of Oklahoma, and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Hampton Kiwanis Club and serves as treasurer for the Hampton-Dumont Achievement Foundation and the Salvation Army. He and his wife, Peggy, have four children.

| Dan Latham |
Dan Latham of Mason City recently started a consulting company called 3 Degrees Holdings with partner Dan Valentino and is Chairman of the Board for LXI (a recovery and compliance software company). He is also an advisor to the board of Intelemedia (a software and hosting call center company) as well as to several other companies. A graduate of North Iowa Area Community College and the University of Northern Iowa, Latham is a recipient of the NIACC Outstanding Alumni Award. He and his wife, Debi, have two children.

| Jon Lewerke |
Jon Lewerke of Mason City is the Vice President of Woodharbor Doors & Cabinetry, which he and his brothers, Curtis and Dennis, established in 1993. Lewerke attended North Iowa Area Community College and has been active with Mason City Youth Baseball for over 15 years. A longstanding member of the Newman Foundation, he is also co-owner of Open Market, Ltd. with his wife, Jo-Ellen. The couple has four children.

| Robert Olson |
Robert Olson of Forest City is Senior Vice President, Operations for Winnebago Industries, Inc. He has been with the Fortune 500 company since 1969. He is certified in inventory management by the American Production and Inventory Control Society and recently chaired the Iowa Manufacturers Extension Partnership (IMEP) Industry Governance Board. Olson also chaired the Bear Creek Golf Course Back Nine expansion committee and is a member of the Forest City Economic Development Committee, Winnebago Industries Foundation, and the North Iowa President’s Club at NIACC. He and his wife, Kathleen, have two children and four grandchildren.
Other members of the NIACC Foundation Board of Directors are Charles MacNider (President) of Clear Lake; Kevin Kolbet (Vice President) of Osage; Russell Schurtz (Past President) of Mason City; Gordon Anderson of Osage; Jim Benjegerdes, Rosie Hussey, Joyce Nielsen, Tel Pappajohn, and Linda Schaefer of Mason City; Barb Heilskov of Hampton; Pat Galasso, Robert Halford, and Darren Lovick of Clear Lake; Dick Herbrechtsmeyer and Colin Robinson of Charles City; Brad Robson of Belmond; David Steffens, Sr. of Lake Mills; Jean Torgeson of Manly; and Linda Upmeyer of Garner.
Created in 1968 as a separate 501(c)3 organization, the NIACC Foundation strives to keep higher education accessible to North Iowa residents through student scholarships and to enhance the programs and activities of the College.
