Communications 1 Network, Inc. Scholarship Established Through the NIACC Foundation

The NIACC Foundation is pleased to announce that Communications 1 Network, Inc. of Kanawha has established a term scholarship fund to benefit students from their service area.  Communications 1 Network offers telephone, internet, cable television and wireless services to their customers.

Students from Kanawha, Klemme, Corwith and Britt planning to attend North Iowa Area Community College are eligible for this scholarship.  Preference will be given to students enrolled in an Information Technology program.  The deadline for the first award cycle is March 1, 2009. 

Randy Yeakel, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Communications 1 Network noted that sponsoring a scholarship provides an opportunity to give back to the communities that they serve. “On behalf of the board at Communications 1 Network, we are excited to provide this opportunity to deserving local students who want to further their education at NIACC,” Yeakel said.
