Enjoy a complimentary gourmet dinner while learning more about the Hospitality/Food Service Management program at North Iowa Area Community College on Tuesday, July 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  The dinner will take place in the new NIACC dining room, Activity Center Room 128.  Featured at the event will be a presentation by Ken Webber, NIACC director of food services.  Webber, a New York certified executive chef in Hospitality Food Services, will discuss chef and management careers.

Around 643 individuals have been named to the North Iowa Area Community College Dean’s List for the 2009 Spring Semester. That includes 338 full-time students and 280 part-time students who together represent 113 communities in Iowa, 5 states and 6 countries.

Regional Economic Development through Entrepreneurship: A Symposium for Elected Officials provided an opportunity for elected officials and community leaders to discuss the critical need to develop and implement effective strategies to promote economic growth for the future of North Iowa.  North Iowa Area Community College hosted this event on Friday, June 19.

North Iowa Area Community College will host the Iowa State University Cyclone Basketball Travel Camp in the NIACC gym on June 30.

North Iowa Area Community College will hold the NIACC Athletic Club Open at Highland Park Golf Course in Mason City on June 27 with all proceeds going to support NIACC Athletics.
