From North Iowa Area Community College, www.niacc.edu John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center News Ref. 2852 If you have an innovative idea and have been wondering how to turn it into a business opportunity, or have wanted to take your current business to new levels, then it’s time you get down to business with the NIACC John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center’s FastTrac® classes. The John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at North Iowa Area Community College will hold a FastTrac® NewVenture™ class starting in April. The course will be held on the NIACC campus. FastTrac® NewVenture™, scheduled to meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning April 1 and ending May 1, is designed for the start-up entrepreneur. Through the course participants will evaluate and design a business concept and write a feasibility plan. Approaches to marketing, creating a market penetration strategy, understanding the customer, and pricing methods will be discussed along with various other topics. FastTrac® entrepreneurial training began in North Iowa ten years ago. FastTrac graduates have started over 225 businesses in North Iowa and today 78% of these business are still going strong today.
