North Iowa Area Community College will host a grand opening of the new Recreation Center with public tours of the new facility on the NIACC campus on Sunday, November 23 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“In listening to students, we understand they’re interested in participating in student life, including athletics, intramurals and club sports,” Dr. Debra Derr, NIACC president, said. “We also want to encourage our students to lead healthy lives.”
Public tours beginning at 2 p.m. in the new NIACC Recreation Center will highlight the new facility as well as the benefits it offers to NIACC students.
The Recreation Center will be officially open for use by NIACC students, faculty and staff after the grand opening.
