NIACC Extreme Makeover: College Edition Winners Announced

Teresa Brandau and Amber Ferry, both of Mason City, have been announced as the winners of North Iowa Area Community College’s Extreme Makeover: College Edition.

Brandau and Ferry will receive free NIACC tuition plus textbooks and more for the 2010-2011 school year.  Brandau hopes to enter NIACC’s nursing program and become a nurse.  Ferry plans to get a degree in Early Childhood Education. 

The three runners-up, Amber Tabbert and Stephanie Thurnau, both of Osage, and Molly Johnson, of Clear Lake, will each receive a $1,000 NIACC scholarship this year.
