North Iowa Area Community College will host the Job & Internship Fair Thursday, April 6, 2006, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the NIACC Gymnasium.
“The Job & Internship Fair is the perfect opportunity to network with area employers whether you are looking for a job now or are thinking about a job or career change in the future,” Kim Caponi, Director, North Iowa Career Center, at NIACC, said. “We know that the average American has between 10-12 jobs and three to five careers in their lifetime and we want those changes to occur in North Iowa.”
Join Scott Moorman of Moorman Clothiers at Noon for “Professional Dress in the Workplace”. See examples and have your questions answered. Come back at 5:30 p.m. for “Interview to Get the Job” with Susan Nagle, NIACC Job Seeking Skills instructor. You will learn how to answer common interview questions, how to present yourself, and how to handle illegal questions.
This event is open to the public at no charge and is coordinated by North Iowa Area Community College, the Mason City Chamber of Commerce, and Hamilton College. A list of register exhibitors to date is available online at www.niacc.edu/career_center, Click on the Job Fair logo.
