NIACC’s Lifelong Learning Institute will host a Fall Semester Kick-off event that will give new and returning members a chance to preview the stimulating courses offered for the Fall semester and meet faculty. The event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, September 9, in the Muse Norris Conference Center on the NIACC campus.
Lifelong Learning Institute is open to adults of any age and provides a chance to stretch your mind, study something you never had time to learn, ignite your interests and passions - just for the love of learning. New classes added for the Fall semester will give you a chance to try your hand at percussion, explore China through lecture and novels, discover the nuances of landscape architecture, or delve into a world religion such as Islam or Buddhism.
The Fall Semester Kick-off is open for current and new Lifelong Learning Institute members. Food will be served so reservations are requested. To register for the event, call NIACC Continuing Education at 641-422-4358, or 1-888 GO NIACC, extension 4358, and ask to register for Course #74489.
